Folks are reminiscing online about the Atlantic City Pop Festival in the summer of 1969.
It was a blast… mostly.
I used it as the background for a chapter in a book that I haven’t completed because it was trying to be two different things at once, and because Covid happened and changed what I wanted to write about. Half was set in ’69 and the other half in the present (with an interlude set during the collapse of Lehman Brothers in 2008).
But I hope you might enjoy my view of this festival, as reflected through the two main characters of A Little Courage.
